Storch’s Porches is a peer-run shared home in Austin for men rebuilding life after incarceration. It is a place to live—not a program to move through. Residents have the freedom and responsibility of ordinary adult life, with the stability of a substance-free household and clear expectations everyone agrees to uphold.

WHAT HOME FEELS LIKE

A steady address. A clean, comfortable place to sleep. Shared spaces treated with care. People who understand that beginning again is serious work—and that dignity matters while you do it.

Residents live independently, manage their own schedules, appointments, employment, meals, and transportation, and take part in the everyday responsibilities of a shared household.

WHAT WE ARE NOT

Storch’s Porches is not a treatment center, medical facility, correctional facility, or 24-hour staffed program. We do not provide therapy, clinical services, transportation, or meals. Residents must be able to live independently and participate respectfully in a shared home.
